How do I prepare clothing items for consignment?

Clean, well pressed and fragrance free sells the best! The cleanliness and appearance of your garments is crucial. We only accept garments that are clean and fragrance free.

Step 1

Inspect each garment in a bright light for:

• soil/stains especially around collars, elbows, knees, and cuffs
• missing/loose buttons and closures
• holes, tears or signs of  excessive wear
• torn/stained linings
• faded or uneven colors

In most cases, you should also reject any garment that is:

• more than 3 years old
• looks dated or out of style
• is not of good quality

Please do not send these item for consignment. Other shoppers would feel the same way you do about these things so it's unlikely Here We GROW Again will accept them. Consider donating these garments to a charity.

Step 2

Gather up the items that pass the test and bring them to Here We GROW Again. Be sure to check our current acceptance policy as it changes from time to time.
