We receive many repeat questions about consigning items for sale, and about purchasing resale items at Here We GROW Again. Here are answers to some of the most often-asked questions.

 

 
 
 
 

Consigning items for sale at Here WE Grow Again
1. How does consignment work?
We sell your items on your behalf. Here We GROW Again handles the sorting, pricing, tracking and collection of applicable sales taxes. We pay you a percentage of the sale price after the item sells.
2. How do I consign my items?
  Sort through the items you no longer use and pick those that meet our high standards. Print a copy of our Drop and Run Agreement and, if a new consignor, a copy of the Customer Information sheet.  Bring them into the store. We inspect each item and assign a price to items that meet our standards. We then offer the item for sale in the store. See the next question for information about what you can consign.
3. What can I consign at Here We GROW Again?
  We accept children's clothes from infant to size 16, toys and equipment such as high chairs and cribs. See our Acceptance Policy for details.
4. How many items can I consign at one time?
  You may bring in up to 20 articles a month for consignment.
5. Why do you sometimes stop accepting items for consignment?
  Sometimes we stop accepting clothing for short periods, especially when we are switching between seasons. This gives us a chance to clear space on our racks for next season's items.
6. How much do I earn on consigned items?
  It depends on the price.  See our Consignment Agreement for more details.
7. What happens if my items don't sell?
  After 30 days we reduce the selling price by 25% off the original tag price. We remove unsold items after 60 days and they become the property of Here We GROW Again.
8. How do I know when my items sell?
  If you have items in the store, please check with us for the current balance in your account.
9. How do I get paid for items that have sold?
  Three days after an item sells, your portion of the sale price is available to you. You can either use the money in your account as a store credit, or we will pay you in cash or by cheque.

Purchasing items at Here WE Grow Again
1. What types of items do you sell?

We sell children's clothing, maternity wear, toys and equipment. Our strict acceptance policies ensure we only offer resale items that are almost as good as new.
2. How much can I save by purchasing consignment items?

Our resale items are priced at about 50% of an equivalent new item. If an item is unsold, we drop the price after 30 days. You may be able to pick up some real bargains at a fraction of the original price.
3. What if I buy something and it doesn't fit?
  You have 48 hours to return the item for exchange, refund or credit.
4. If I sell something on consignment, can I use my account balance to purchase another item?

Absolutely. Because of our return policy, we wait 3 days before your money after the sale before you can use  the money in your account.
5. What if I am looking for something you don't have in stock?
  Just ask. We keep a "Wish List". We will gladly add your name to the list.
6. If I buy something now can I bring it in for consignment once I no longer need it?
  If the item is still in good condition and meets our high standards, bring it in for resale.
7. Do you ever have a sale?

Here We GROW Again has a sale every month. Unsold items are reduced 25%. See our web site or check in the store for the current sale items.
